Most straightforward 7kW home installs in Camborne take 3-5 hours on the day, from arrival to commissioning. Check the government’s authorised installer list: the grant needs a quote from an OZEV-authorised installer, and only they can claim the grant payment. Also look for work to BS 7671:2018+A2:2022 Section 722 and the IET Code of Practice for EV Charging Equipment Installation, 5th Edition, plus NICEIC or NAPIT registration and insurance.
